Call for Participation: ECA Grants for Events at the European Artistic Crafts Days 2025

The European Craft Alliance invites craftspeople, organisations and other entities in the crafts sector across Europe to participate in the EACD 2025. They offer 40 grants of 500€ to host the activities during the EACD. 

Activities may include fairs, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, open days, live demonstrations, workshops, museum visits or ‘Exceptional Rendezvous’. They should bring the work of luthiers, jewellers, potters, lace makers, blacksmiths, weavers and other craftspeople closer to the public, to spread awareness of the richness and uniqueness of crafts.

The selection process will consider the quality, impact, and originality of each application.

 CRITERIA

Applicants must:

• Be a public or private entity linked to the crafts sector (e.g., training centers, associations, museums, etc.).
• Actively participate in EACD 2025 and offer activities that promote the crafts sector.
• Not request additional financial contributions from participants.
• Respect the opening dates and times communicated in the confirmation form and program.
• Use the communication materials provided by ECA.
• Submit a final evaluation form (provided by ECA) by 10 April 2025 after the activity.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications open: 6 February – 3 March 2025
Grants available: 40 grants of €500

Selected applicants informed: 7 March 2025
Final confirmations & banking details due: 13 March 2025
Final reports due: 10 April 2025 (grants are transferred upon approval).
