MEET THE MAKER

Bas van Loo is a fashion maker and specialized in tailor-made clothing for men and women. In his studio in Enschede, he makes custom clothing on request and according to the customer’s wishes. He also designs and manufactures individual pieces in which he incorporates his passion for haute couture and broderie d’art. Craftsmanship, precision and detailing are central to every design. Due to his eye for detail, he knows how to make his designs in such a way that they are timeless and last for years.

‘By participating in Crafting Business, I have come to understand what the value proposition means for my studio and that marketing doesn’t just have to be fast and smooth. The lectures of people from the field challenged me to see how I can draw attention to my studio without having to lose myself. It also helped to set clear and achievable goals and provided tools to achieve them.’
