Isabel Andreu Nadal

I am Isabel Andreu, an artist, photographer, craftswoman and tireless creative. I was born in Murcia in 1987, although I grew up in the south of Alicante. From 2009 I travelled to different cities and countries until 2017 when I settled on the Costa Brava in Girona. From the tranquillity of these lands and with the homesickness of mine, I have created “Alcachofa Limón Papelería Eco-chic y Bienestar”, which is just over a year old, since it was born in August 2020.

My business objectives are:

Our planning system is meant to fit your skin, help you feel comfortable and good about your life. Let’s go back to the origins: the pure and simple well-being that nature gives you. The pleasures of the 5 senses.

Skin-to-skin contact, walking barefoot, strolling through a park, field, forest, beach, mountain, lake or desert, the softness of things, the warmth in winter, the coolness in summer. You can make your perfect environment at home. Starting with your mind and your thoughts, and continuing with your house (even if it’s rented, or your parents’ house). All-natural, all eco, we remove the bugs for you.

Our sustainable values: we use recycled paper with sustainable forest certifications. In addition, we collaborate with environmental organizations for the reforestation of forests on the Iberian Peninsula.

My learnings from the Crafting Business Programme:

In this year of life and trial and error, I have clearly seen that the focus of “Alcachofa Limón” is on wellness, and that is why in 2022 I am going to help people feel good about themselves not only through conscious stationery but through videos on my blog and social networks.

My 5 top tips that I have learnt on this journey:

1. First and foremost (and the hardest) is to be yourself, get to know yourself well, and keep exploring yourself continuously. Because magic is in authenticity.
2. Even if you are an organized person, as a freelancer and artisan you are going to become a machine for filing important documents, taking courses non-stop, writing down ideas, creating processes and endless new mini-habits.
3. Delegate, delegate, delegate.
4. Listen, process, trust your criteria and know-how to say decisively: this is not and this is yes.
5. Each new learning adds value to our creation, and this will be in continuous change. So, breathe, be aware, live the moment and enjoy the journey!
